The name

A name that is a mandate

KEPHA

Aramaic for rock, the name Jesus gave Simon: you will be called Cephas (Jn 1:42). Petros in Greek, Petrus in Latin.

A MANDATE

Jesus renamed no other disciple. It was not only a name; it was a mandate (Benedict XVI, General Audience, 7 June 2006).

KEPHA VIVA

The deeper sense: a living rock. Peter himself writes, like living stones, let yourselves be built into a spiritual house (1 Pt 2:5).

Why we build
Even the era of AI can become a time in which the Holy Spirit brings about the civilization of love Pope Leo XIV, Magnifica Humanitas (2026), §245

The encyclical calls Christians, founded on Christ, the living stone (§2), to enter the construction sites of history, including research laboratories and local communities (§241). That is what the lab is: a small construction site in a parish. People stay in charge: nothing reaches the parish until a person has read it and approved it.

Weekly content, drafted by agents

Bulletin items and announcements prepared each week, ready for review.

Every draft waits in a staging area until a person has checked and approved it.

Visual identity

The Kepha Prism

The Kepha mark
  • The prism

Kepha, the rock: a cut stone, ordered like a monastery plan or a rose window.

  • The cross

The prism's axis, from top point to bottom point through the exact centre: Christ at the centre of the stone.

  • The K

The cross is the K's own stem; its arms run into the prism's corners. The name is built on the cross.
